Potters Guild

The Jacksonville State University Potters Guild was in search for a brand identity for their organization. For this project it was decided to look historically and research where pottery came from. The type chosen to help this idea was Tommaso. The type was manipulated from its original form to make it more round and smooth, helping emulate the pottery vessels for a custom type. The color palette consists of earth tones and gold. The earth tones symbolize the materials of pottery while the gold references illuminated manuscripts in the medieval times to connect the historical aspect of the brand.
